Real Estate Savings and Investment Course

I was privileged to participate as a Judge for an Investment and Savings Course hosted by ECCB. The participants were from all walks of life in St Lucia keen on developing a greater understanding on well established principles regarding an intelligent approach to investing. There were three groups who had to prepare a real estate prospectus detailing 4 properties for sale and what qualifies them as a good investment based on Assumptions, Condition and Location, Valuations, Cost to repair/build, Investment Opportunities/Potential and Risks. Based on this criteria, each group real estate portfolio was assessed by myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of research and detail delivered with most if not all the properties being found on existing RASL member websites. This part of the class course was an overall success with regards to each group’s delivery. Cheers to ECCB for facilitating such a course to the general public and inviting the RASL with Rock Cake Real Estate to be apart of the project.
